Jewel of the Bushveld
- Written by WRSA
Ra-Molopo, the ultimate Bushveld destination, is situated at Rooiberg in Limpopo, 80km west of Bela-Bela, in the picturesque and malaria free Waterberg biosphere. This lovely establishment embraces some 900 hectares of pristine bushveld and is positioned on the edge of an escarpment. You can expect to be thrilled by panoramic views of wide open expanses fringed by the high rises of the Waterberg in the distance.
Ra-Molopo boasts a wide range of comfortable accommodation options, from the very upmarket Chapman’s Peak lodge to the more rustic bush camp. All accommodation is fully equipped for self catering, although they recommend that you treat yourself to some traditional South African delicacies at the restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also the Bull and Bush pub, where visitors can enjoy a drink and a bite while watching the match of the day on the sports channel.
