On 28 July 2022, International Wildlife Conservation Day, WRSA and CROWN NATIONAL, together with the Penta Group and the support of the Acorn Foundation, Blue Valley Golf and Essential Marketing are collaborating to host the WRSA SAFARI NATIONAL GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP. This mammoth occasion is unique in the sense that no event like this has, to our knowledge, ever been played in the world.

NON-PROFIT AND PUBLIC BENEFIT ORGANISATION PARTNER, ACORN FOUNDATION
Through our Non-Profit Company partner, Acorn Foundation, all donations (monetary and other) will entitle the donor to a Section 18A Tax Donation Receipt, which in turn entitles the donor to a tax deduction for their charitable donation. Receipts will be issued to donors once their donations or supplementary documents have been received (proof of value and list of items donated)
TELETHON WITH GROOT FM AND GROOT ONTBYT
GrootFM and Groot Ontbyt graciously agreed to host a telethon on WRSA’s behalf on the 28th of July. With the help of our sponsors, rugby players, cricket players and celebrities we will collaborate and get together at Groot FM station to answer telephones and take pledges from the public towards supporting WRSA and the WRSA Foundation to protect our precious endangered wildlife.
FANTASTIC HOLE-IN-ONE PRIZES
Each of the 15 participating golf courses offer players two chances to win BIG hole-in-one prizes.
One par 3 per participating golf course will be dedicated to the Penta Group where a 2022 Suzuki Jimny 1.5l can be won and the next par 3 will be dedicated to the chance to win a share in 1 million rand.
