08 October 2022 – The 2022 Jimie Malan WRSA Regional Interest Group (RIG) Award was announced at the WRSA-Mitsubishi Gala Dinner & Award Celebration by WRSA Director of Marketing, Kgomotso Maphai.
“We have 22 Regional Interest Groups (RIGs) in South Africa.
In every province, WRSA’s members can join a regional interest group to attain first-hand knowledge of any new developments. It provides the ideal opportunity for members to network and to become better acquainted with fellow wildlife ranchers. The RIGS organises meetings and Workers Days to train and inform workers, managers, and farmers better. RIGS strive, through their committees, to bring value to ranchers by arranging gatherings so that ideas can be shared and challenges in their specific areas can be addressed.
The most active RIG with the best ideas and enthusiasm is recognised with the Jimie Malan Regional Interest Group Award. This year the award goes to WRSA Naboom (Limpopo).”
