26 March 2024 – The Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment (DFFE) has distributed the current version of the Draft Revised Black and White Rhino Biodiversity Management Plan (BMP) to industry stakeholders.
The Draft Revised BMP will be published for public participation as soon as it is signed by Minister Barbara Creecy whereafter the period for public participation will be 30 (thirty) days after publication.
We encourage rhino owners to familiarise themselves with this proposed BMP and, should you have concerns, communicate these to WRSA CEO, Richard York, via email to ceo@wrsa.co.za .
