Goeiemore WRSA ledel (PLEASE SEE ENGLISH MESSAGE BELOW)
Groete, Adri
Good morning WRSA members,
Herewith, a copy of our email of this morning to Mrs. Boshoff at the Department of Environmental Affairs, requesting confirmation that our interpretation of the Regulations regarding hunting within level 3, is correct. Currently, the Directives are still outstanding; quite possibly due to the court ruling, which may cause a delay with the Chief State Counsel.
Once we receive feedback that our interpretation is correct, or any other clarity, we will forward it to you.
In the meantime, we remind our members that WRSA issues Essential Services and Allowed Activities Permit with WRSA and AGRI-SA logos on, to paid-up WRSA members request it. However, the format of the permit, without the logo’s, is available to any other game farmer, as part of the Level 4 Directives, which is available on www.wrsa.co.za.
We have already issued over 700 permits to members over the past 11 weeks. If you have not yet requested your permit, please send your request to Nonkie at: info@wrsa.co.za.
Along with the permit, we also send a membership confirmation letter to all paid WRSA members. For this, we need the principal member’s full names and ID number, which you must also send to Nonkie.
It may be wise to apply for this permit now.
Let’s hold thumbs that we will receive confirmation today, which will allow you to welcome hunters to your game farm without the possibility of them running into trouble when stopped by the SAPS or SANDF.
Regards, Adri
