MINISTER GEORGE HIDES BEHIND COURT CASE TO EXCUSE HIS OWN FAILURE

WRSA has issued a press release in response to Minister Dion George’s misleading statement on CITES export quotas for Elephant, Black Rhino and Leopard hunting trophies.
In the release, WRSA makes it clear that the Minister is using the very court case created by his own failure as an excuse for further inaction - a delay that harms South Africa’s conservation reputation and the rural communities who depend on wildlife economies.
WRSA is consulting our legal team to seek expedited case management and urgent enrolment in court.
SA’s conservation future will not be held hostage to political delay.
